Despite the best of intentions, with 75% of our pupils using daily transport over 600 square miles of catchment area, there can be issues with coaches, buses and taxis. Please consider the following suggestions:-

  • Have the number of your contractor handy. If a bus breaks down the contractor is obliged to run a replacement service.
  • Ensure your son/daughter wears sensible clothing/shoes and carries a torch if needed during the winter months.
  • Encourage your son/daughter to wear their seat belt whenever the coach/bus/taxi is moving. Under no circumstances should he/she be out of his/her seat until the coach has come to a complete stop.

If making a formal complaint it is helpful if you could also contact the Transport Co-ordinator (Ms Kerr, Transport Co-ordinator, Stirling Bus Station, Goosecroft Road, Stirling) and the service provider.
